Speaks to the beauty of found digital objects and its original intent.
I pulled elements from a variety of electronic/digital devices in order to highlight the similarities in their functionality and how they can sit with each other to display common stories/purposes.
The idea is to show the art in these devices while simultaneously highlighting how human misuse of technology/digital platforms has interrupted or damaged art, the artist and many facets of life for greed, power and profits.
It was on purpose not not make these pieces functional, as a way to say it’s ok to unplug, be still, go slow, allow the nuances and journey to be explored so that the magic of doing can produce more magic.
